Find your path to a happier you

Warm, professional psychotherapy for adults navigating anxiety, depression, and stress.

If life has started to feel heavy, overwhelming, or harder to manage than it used to, therapy can offer space to pause and breathe.

My practice is here for adults who want a supportive space to talk openly, make sense of what they are experiencing, and work towards feeling more steady.

How I help

I work with adults seeking support for:

Anxiety

If your worry is intense, constant and dominates your thoughts, becomes overwhelming and makes it hard to do everyday activities, an anxiety disorder may be the cause.

Depression

If you’re experiencing depressive symptoms lasting longer than a couple of weeks and they’re affecting your ability to function day-to-day, you may have depression.

Stress

When you experience high levels of stress long term, it can impact your health and enjoyment of life, so if you’ve been feeling stressed for more than a few weeks, you may need to seek help.

Sessions are available in-person or online, depending on what best suits your needs.

Meet Emma Gordon

Hi, my name is Emma

I’m an experienced psychotherapist with a wide range of skills to help you find the path to a calmer, happier you.

I have over a decade of experience guiding people in overcoming stress, depression, anxiety and other related mental health concerns holding them back from living the life they want to lead.

During therapy, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a researched-backed method that helps you overcome negative patterns of thinking and feeling.

If mental health problems are getting the better of you, try therapy with me. I'll support you on every step of your journey. Together in therapy, we can work towards helping you feel better and living the life you want.

Here are answers to questions regarding what to expect, how it works and whether it will work for you.

What does the first session involve?

Your first session is an opportunity to talk about what is bringing you to therapy, what you would like to change and whether working together feels like a good fit.

How long are individual sessions?

Sessions usually last 50 minutes, allowing ample time for meaningful exploration and therapeutic dialogue.

Does everything I share remain confidential?

‍Absolutely, confidentiality is a cornerstone of my practice, ensuring a safe atmosphere for you to share openly.

Do you offer online therapy sessions?

Yes. I offer online therapy via a secure video conferencing platform for clients across the UK.
